I have been Dr. Kacmar’s patient for at least 3 decades. At the time I first became his patient, we were both young men. Dr. Kacmar is an exceptional physician. He has seen me through 6 surgeries, and I have always bounced back to 100% health.On one occasion, I needed emergency room service and the ER physician asked me for the name of my primary care doctor. When she learned that I am one of Doctor Kacmar’s patients, she immediately said “When my husband, who is also a medical doctor, got sick, I TOLD him to make an appointment with Dr. Kacmar’s office.” From that point on, at least 20 years, I have been calling Dr. Kacmar “The Doctor’s Doctor”. They are top notch professionals and always friendly and helpful! Dr. Kacmar has saved lives of my closest family members. He will not stop until he has found a solution! He does not let anyone interfere with what his patient needs! Went in to see Dr. Kacmar for a routine follow up exam which went well. I also asked him to look at a cicada mite bite that I received recently as it did not appear to be healing. Dr. Kacmar took one look at it and immediately determined that it had resulted in cellulitis and needed to be treated immediately. He prescribed an antibiotic and a steroid and assured me it would clear up quickly, which it did. Dr. Kacmar is outstanding and I'm glad to have him!

Once again it is a great experience. I went in for a follow-up appointment from labs. Dr. Kacmar comes in, greets me with a handshake and asks how I'm doing, as he always does. I had made a brief list of some concerns which had come up, and he sat down and discussed my concerns to my satisfaction and did examine me. We then made a decision as to how to proceed. When you are in an examining room, read the framed statement on the wall. That statement is absolutely true, Dr. Kacmar truly cares about his patients and it shows in his care and concern.

I have been going to Dr. Kacmar for 20+ years. I went to him originally as he was sports-focused. I was a college athlete and he resolved some corresponding chronic issues. But I stayed because he is a phenomenal doctor. My wife and kids all go to him as well. As any of us have health challenges...he resolves them. He is thoughtful and logical and a problem solver. So he doesn't simply provide a "rote" diagnosis, rather he digs in to address the issue and the root cause. I trust him implicitly. Of note, he was the rare doctor actually treating COVID, with zero fatalities and thousands treated, using methods which are now being validated by medical journals as the proper approach. This is a good guy and I consider myself fortunate to have him, and his practice, as our primary care source.

It is a great relief to visit with health care providers that listen putting your issues and concerns on the forefront. I wanted to bring you up to date on our visit to Mayo on the 14th. I was assigned a urologist and asked to complete an extensive background review. A resident talked to us and noted that the CT scan showed 2 kidney stones. He also stated that the supra pubic tube was something that would seem to be appropriate. Finally he said that a particular urologist could do a reconstruction of my bladder. The results of the urine flow test and the ultra sound test have not been shared. I am alive today because of Dr. Kacmar. I have an an Auto Immune Disease called Myesthenia Gravis. It flared up and I could not swallow or breathe and went to Edwards hospital emergency room were things went south. After being admitted and during a procedure involving tapping into an artery, nurses walked away and the needed popped out and and I would have bleed to death if it were not for Dr. Kacmar and my wife being close by to catch it. It was a tough recovery from there but Dr Kacmar was at the hospital with me every day thereafter taking care of my care. And believe it or not it happened again and he prevented me from dying twice. And boys and girls, just 2 years earlier I had back surgery at Edwards and that surgery went south. The surgeon cut some nerves in my left lower back causing a huge sack of blood building up around my waist. Dr Kacmar was there every day to manage my recovery helping me to walk again with Drop Foot caused by the surgery. Dr Kacnsr is more than a Sports Medicine doctor, he is a life Saver!

I am always happy with Dr. Kacmar‘s care. He is an excellent doctor and certainly has come to my rescue several times. Myself and my wife have seen the Doctor and staff on three separate issues. Doctor and staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. Matter of fact in my case Covid had me close to major issues and Doctor prescribed the right treatment and in about three separate visits Covid the gone. My wife had Covid at the same time and two visits to the Doctor she was healed completely. I came back for my diabetic he had me off my medication and my blood sugar level sank to 5.3 yea. Now Doctor is helping me with right knee pain and after one shot I’m feeling less pain and ache in my knee and more freedom of movement. The Doctor and his staff are number 1 in my book as well as my wife. Thank you all so much.

Before visiting Dr. Kacmar's office, it had been decades since I had such a patient-centered experience at a doctor's office. Coming from a large medical group in the area, it's difficult to describe the contrast between coming from a place where you're just a number, and going to a place where they treat you like family. All the patient's concerns are taken seriously, no matter how small, and every effort is made to keep the patient comfortable. I typically leave four stars in most reviews when I have a positive experience, but in the case of Dr. Kacmar, the fifth star is more than deserved.
